Charity Williams

Charity has worked in the court system (both dependency and criminal) for the last 15 years. She is a certified Nurturing Parenting Instructor, Certified Child Protective Investigator, Certified Behavioral Health Targeted Case Manager and a Certified Anger Management Specialist. She is trained in CBT, the Duluth Model, Nurturing Parenting Program, Seeking Safety and TF-CBT. She has a M.S. and B.S. from Florida State University. She has a strong desire to help those in the local communities overcome the barriers that are keeping them from succeeding. She is a member of the National Anger Management Association, the Hendry Okeechobee Glades Opioid Consortium, the Association of Play Therapy and the Hendry/ Glades County Sexual Abuse Response Team.

Laura Arnold

Laura is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication in 2013 from Florida Gulf Coast University. Laura obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 from Florida Gulf Coast University. Laura has had additional training in the areas of Depression, Suicide, and Anxiety from the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Philadelphia. She believes in the importance of an individual’s emotional and behavioral health. Laura maintains unconditional positive regard and creating a warm and open therapeutic environment of acceptance. She has worked with individuals challenged by substance abuse, behavioral and personality disorders, and human sexuality.


Charlene Gardener

Charlene Gardner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 2004 and her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2008. She is Child and Adult Trauma trained as well as EMDR Trained. She specializes in the areas of Substance Abuse, Behavioral Disorders, and focuses on the use of Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Charlene is also a nationally recognized Nurturing Parenting Trainer/Consultant for the Nurturing Parenting Programs. She is a proud member of the Association of Family Law Professionals.

Rebecca Sinclair

Rebecca Sinclair is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.  She received her Master of Science in Counseling in 1997 from the University of Dayton and her Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2016.  She has worked with adults, children, and adolescents in various treatment settings and modalities over the past 25 years. She is invested in keeping current with the most current research in the counseling field. She specializes in the areas of substance abuse treatment and intimate partner violence.  She has worked with intimate partner violence survivors for over ten years and in the substance abuse field for over five years.  Her counseling style is grounded on evidenced based Cognitive Behavior Therapy however it is tailored to include Humanistic Therapy as well.  Rebecca believes that your unique set of beliefs and/or spirituality, and strengths can be put into action for creating solutions and paths to achieve the goals that you have identified for yourself. She is a member of the Association of Family Law Professionals. 


Angela Pyles
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

Angela Pyles is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with the state of Florida. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Miami University in 2000 and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University in 2020. She is an expert registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance since 2010 and has excelled in helping others create a sense of well-being and peace in their lives. Angela understands what it is like to be “stuck” in the same patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, and depression. She understands how traumatic experiences impact our ability to “just move on” and shape our responses to life’s stressors. Helping her clients identify and work through their own patterns and experiences that keep them “stuck” by developing sustainable, healthier ways of functioning is her passion.


Brad Vattilana
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Brad is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern with the state of Florida. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree with a major in Psychology and minor in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University in 2014. He received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University in 2019. Brad has worked with Adults, Adolescents, children, and couples within various settings. He specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT); but also incorporates solutions-focused and mindfulness to his counseling style. Brad focuses on being able to find the positivity in situations, and utilizes that to help clients be empowered.


Saritha Venugopal
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Saritha is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. Saritha graduated with her Master's in Mental Health Counseling in 2017 from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in education in 2015 from the University at Albany. She is a multi-faceted clinician, who utilizes Solution Focused, Cognitive behavioral therapy and Motivational Interviewing to support her clients. She has worked with a variety of populations including addictions, homelessness and children/adolescents. Saritha is passionate about helping her clients identify negative thought patterns and behaviors, and challenging them to produce change. She believes in partnering with each client to create sessions that will meet each person's individual needs, using a non-judgmental approach.  


Emerald Williams
Office Manager / Counseling Student Intern

Emerald is our office manager and counseling student intern. She is currently attending Capella University to receive her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology in 2018 from Nova Southeastern University. She became a certified Moral Reconation Therapy Facilitator in 2020. She, also, became certified in the Duluth Model in 2020. Additionally, she became certified as a Nurturing Parenting Facilitator in 2018. Emerald primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Emerald is a big believer that an individual's thoughts and beliefs are the driver's to a person's emotions and actions. She works with clients to develop an individualized plan to help them reach their desired goals.
